To date, combining the caramel gene with the diffuse gene
has been a little disappointing. Caramel diffuse corn
snakes have not been nearly as diffuse, nor as rich in
coloration as it had been expected. However, since this
combo morph is still in it's infancy, it may simply be that
the morph hasn't been perfected yet as a few, more diffuse
hatchlings are now beginning to emerge.
