Another simple recessive mutation resulting in corn snakes with a greatly reduced, but not
eliminated, amount of black pigment in the skin.  The eyes of hypomelanistic corn snakes are
still black.  Currently, there are four known types of hypomelanism - type "A", Sunkissed,
lava and ultra, and so far, all tests have shown that each type is controlled by a separate gene.
