| Sunkissed Ghost Project |
This is a project that I've been working on for awhile. I had a tremendous
boost with the acquisition of Supercali and Docious, a pair of normals het
ghost Sunkissed. They produced their first offspring for me in 2008 with
some wonderful results! Besides 2 pairs of Sunkisseds with possible hets, a
gorgeous male anery Sunkissed hatched out! Unfortunately, he escaped
from his viv in early May '09. I haven't given up hope on him turning up,
but also fear that he became a snack for any one of 3 cats in the house. :(
The 2009 clutch from Supercali and Docious is currently incubating and is
due to start hatching around the 25th of June. I also have a clutch from a
ghost het motley X Sunkissed incubating as well which should tell me if
Kiyoshi is carrying the hypo gene.
As a side note, I'm hoping to expand the Sunkissed combos to include a few
other genes, including dilute, caramel, motley, bloodred and ashy. A trio of
unsexed '09 Sunkisseds have been ordered from SerpenCo, and I am
hoping them to be carrying some hidden hets as Rich is producing a wide
variety of Sunkissed combos. The fun part is going to be testing them to
see what genes may be hiding in them!
