Welcome to Willis Wildlife Enterprises! I've been keeping and breeding
corn snakes since my husband found Norma, a wild caught hatchling, back
in 1995. I immediately fell in love with corn snakes and am completely
fascinated with all the different morphs and morph combinations. I have
my special favorites, but there really isn't a morph that I don't like.
Recently, I've become enamored with the king snakes and corn X king
hybrids, but the corn snakes will always be my species of choice. I also
own a red-tailed boa, but did have up to eight at one time and did have four
females produce offspring one year. I found the live birth of snakes to be
quite a change from the egg-laying I was accustomed to. I also owned two
ball pythons at one time, but I found new homes for them within a year as
they really didn't "do much for me"...literally! They only ate when no one
was looking, one refusing everything except live gerbils, and when they
were taken out to be handled, all they ever did was stay curled up in a ball.
Before I started working with snakes, I helped my husband in the care
and breeding of his veiled chameleons, actually taking them over when his
work did not allow him the time their care required. Unfortunately, when I
gave birth to my daughter, the demands on my time also increased so we
had to sell all of our legged herps, which also included an iguana at that
time. I really don't miss shopping for veggies with the greens on them or
cutting up his daily variety of greens, veggies and fruits. But I did enjoy
spoiling him with the occasional hybiscus flower!
Besides having to give up the chameleons to raise my children, I also had
to put my artwork on the back burner as well. In it's place, however, I take
great delight in photographing my snake collection and am also enjoying
creating, and now re-creating, my website.
I hope you enjoy browsing my site, especially my photos, and if you're
interested, please check out who's available for you to own. Please come
back soon! I'll probably have new photos for you to see and possibly some
other things of interest!
Thanks for visiting Willis Wildlife Enterprises!
